In this paper, our goal is to analyze the burnout level among Romanian employees, using Maslach Burnout Inventory. In our opinion, this study is important mainly due to the fact that in Romania burnout tends to become a very frequent phenomenon, especially among young employees. Another reason why we consider the study important is due to the fact that, from the research undertaken by us, there are only a couple of studies of this type in Romania. The article will attempt to establish the level of burnout by analyzing its three components, namely Emotional Exhaustion, Depersonalization and Personal Accomplishment. Although there are currently many authors who base their studies only on the first two components (Emotional Exhaustion and Depersonalization), they, and especially the first, being recognized as defining burnout syndrome, this study focused on analyzing all three components....
The article deals with the economic aspect of motor traffic safety on roadways. Relevant problems on calculating economic losses related to road accidents are outlined. The importance of accurate determining of social and economic parameters of motor road accidents has been emphasized on. It has been also stressed that only reliable statistics data can be objective instrument for estimation the Motor Traffic Safety (hereinafter MTS) guarantee system effectiveness, establishment of its functioning regulation, and formulation of realistic concept of its development. In many countries of the world the national systems for collection, systematization and generalization of motor transport safety information have been recently characterized by insufficient accuracy and inefficiency ways. The analysis of the main MTS indicators has been performed according to outdated methods. For decades in a row the condition of MTS has been assessed by narrow range of parameters that are unable to represent comprehensive picture of the socio-economic aspect of motor transport safety. In its turn it causes the poorness of the original statistical material and the imperfection of the concepts, plans and programs of sectoral development having been worked out on its basis. Taking the above mentioned into consideration, it is obvious that the article contains analysis of modern methods for calculating economic losses caused by road accident, as well as formulation of a set of recommendations for their use in public administering and strategic management on motor transport safety....
In the global economy, more and more emphasis is placed on cooperation between various entities. Networking has become the basis for understanding the international business, in which enterprises achieve better results being a part of a more extensive network covering an increasing number of countries. One of the types of regional networks are clusters that bring many benefits to associated entities and regions in which they operate, and it is the basis for creating and conducting cluster policy in many countries, or for including clusters in broadly understood economic policy. The authorities saw the potential, especially in the field of creating innovation, raising the level of competitiveness and stimulating entrepreneurship. Therefore, clusters have become a pillar of economic development in many national economies. The article aims to present the place of clusters in the economic policy of two selected European countries - Germany and Poland. These countries are at different levels of economic development, and hence the development of cluster policy and clusters is varied. The reason for writing the article is the phenomenon of heat energy poverty among households. This problem is experienced both in Poland and other more or less developed European countries. Its main cause is three elements: economic, technical and social. Research shows that local governments responsible for the effective management of energy security are beginning to notice the problem of heat poverty in local terms. However, their actions to alleviate this poverty of thermal energy are often intuitive. The author of the article has three main goals. The first is to define heat poverty and heat security. Secondly, to show the current situation of energy poverty, its causes and consequences for households on the basis of a case study of the Wiśniowa commune. The third goal is to present, on the basis of a case study of the Wiśniowa commune, activities undertaken by local government units in the field of the sustainable management of local energy security, the aim of which is to eliminate the problem of thermal energy poverty in this area by investing in geothermal energy. The research problem discussed in the article is theoretical and empirical. The research methods used are: analysis, definition, synthesis, generalization and inference. The conducted research and its results, in addition to being a valuable statistical source, provide general information that can serve as guidelines and recommendations for future activities of local government units, both at the municipal and national levels, in order to meet the challenges and improve the sustainable strategy management of local energy security....
This study represents a trend of nonconformities analysis, established by authority for safety of aliments in matter of food safety. At the same time, this study presents the rate of noncompliance at the level of enterprises in relation to the number of controls performed during 2016-2019. During the analyzed period, there has been ascertained an essential increase in the number of official controls. Following the statistical analysis, there has been proved that the highest non-compliance rate is in the field of trade and public catering units (36.6%), in rapport with other control systems. This area represents the most balanced proportion of non-conformities detected in relation to the number of controls performed as well.
